Songlong Village is where the hundred-bird clothing has originated. Unique to the Miao people, it has been handed down as an implement used in religious rituals. 

Maniao means “golden pheasant” literally in Miao language and it is also translated into “Malue” in some other places. Maniao Village is still a quite primitive Miao village. All villagers residing here belong to the Jinji Branch of the Miao people. Besides, the village is also where the golden pheasant dance was born. 

Paiting Waterfall, 15km south of Danzhai County, is the widest waterfall across the county and also the only large waterfall across East Guizhou Province. It has been reputed as “No.1 Waterfall in East Guizhou”.

Around East Lake stretch dozens of hectares of flower fields. As the most romantic place nearby, they have become a magnet for visitors to appreciate flowers, go hiking and take photos.
